Well, opening day has come and gone, and there has only been one deer taken by the North Carolina team! We have had our chances though... you know who you are...
Anyway, there will not be too much hunting this week for me as I will be away at a minister's retreat in Carlisle, PA. I am looking forward to connecting with some friends and refocusing a little bit! I always value the times when I can just get away from the "norm" and just ask God, "what's next"? Jesus really modeled this for us throughout the Gospels as He would often go off and find a place to pray. I hope that you do this often also, I think that it is important for each one of us!
On this journey there are many things that can get at us and wear us down, but God is always there to help us maintain ourselves and even build us back up! That's what I am looking forward to this week, and that is what I am praying for with Team Greene Outdoors!
