Well, today is the day and what a beautiful morning it has been! We have been in the tree since 6:30 am and we have seen 7 deer! God is always so gracious to us!
Andrea took a shot on a nice doe a little while ago and missed over it's back!! O well, she said that it was the closest that she's ever been to deer and loved it. They came in eating acorns the entire way! I thought that they were going to come a little closer but when they cut to the left and started heading away I knew it was time! I stopped it at about 25 yards but I told her it was at 30! My bad, she shot over its back but not without letting her know that it was only inches away from certain death! Great fun!
Earlier though I had to help her get past her fear of being in a tree! She wouldn't let go of the tree at first! We are like that in our relationship with God lot of times, he wants us to be free but we just hold on to what we know! Often as Christians we miss opportunities in front of us because we won't let go! Seize what God has layed out for you today!!
