It's a great day to be in the woods in southwestern, PA! This morning started out perfect, in the 30's with wet leaves! I saw 5 deer this morning all doe and nothing close enough to stick an arrow in! It won't be too much longer till I draw blood!
Greg Manke and I crawled into this set around 4:15 pm and immediately had four doe come down a trail to us at 40 yards! We had just gotten here and I didn't even have my bow up the tree yet! It never gets old seeing those ghostlike bodies majestically float through the woods!
We often get caught in life unprepared for the situation and we have to adjust to survive! Like right now deer coming in! Talk again soon!
