Sitting here in the tree with my wife this afternoon and we got our fist glimpse of rutting action! Yes, it's on in southwestern PA!! Every hunter who has ever seen it knows what I'm talking about too!! Doe blasting through the thick brush with a buck on her heels!! That gets my blood pumping!! Even though on this occasion they were a little ways away from us and the buck was just a little one, it's still so fun to watch! Hopefully she comes back later with the big daddy behind her!
I just love this time of the year and love being out in God's creation!! Thank you Lord for all you've provided for us!! Hunt safe and shoot them in the heart!
